대한민국의 패션 브랜드인 87MM의 브랜드북을 디자인했습니다. 87MM은 센스와 위트를 통해 일상의 문화를 만들어가는 한국의 대표적인 패션 브랜드입니다. 2011년 런칭 이후 10주년의 기록을 담은 브랜드 북, 《Moment by Moment, We Say ‘No Concept But Good Sense’》를 통해 87MM의 지난 10년간의 이야기를 볼 수 있습니다. 패션 모델이었던 87MM의 두 명의 설립자를 인터뷰하면서 그들이 옷을 만들게 된 이야기를 알게 되었습니다. 그들이 옷을 만들며 지내온 10년 동안의 과정에 대한 이야기를 책에 옮겨 표현하고 싶었습니다. 그들이 좋아하는 색상과 그래픽, 각종 요소들을 어떻게 조합하여 책에 표현할지 고민하게 되었습니다. 8과 7이라는 숫자에서 영감을 받아 글자를 디자인하게 되었고, 이 글자를 사용해서 책을 디자인하게 되었습니다. 우리는 브랜드북을 통해 대한민국을 대표하는 패션 브랜드인 87MM을 좋아하는 대중들에게 2011년 설립 이후 10년 동안의 이야기를 들려주고자 했습니다. 이 책은 87MM의 브랜드 철학은 물론 브랜드의 이야기와 두 명의 설립자의 이야기를 통해 87MM을 좋아하고 열광하는 한국의 젊은 대중들과 보다 더 긴밀한 소통할 수 있는 역할을 할 것입니다.

We designed the brand book of 87MM, a Korean fashion brand. 87MM is a representative fashion brand in Korea that creates a culture in everyday life through sense and wit. You can see the story of 87MM over the past decade through the brand book, 《Moment by Moment, We Say ‘No Concept But Good Sense’》, which contains the record of the 10th anniversary since its launch in 2011. While interviewing the two founders of 87MM, who were fashion models, We learned the story of how they made clothes. We wanted to convey the story of their 10 years of making clothes in a book. We came to think about how to express their favorite colors, graphics, and various elements in the book. Inspired by the numbers 8 and 7, We designed fonts, and We designed books using these fonts. Through the brand book, we designed to tell the public who likes 87MM, Korea's leading fashion brand, the story of the 10 years since its establishment in 2011. This book will serve to communicate more closely with the young Korean public who likes 87 MM and is enthusiastic about it through the story of the brand and the story of the two founders as well as the brand philosophy of 87MM.
